Kids can join hip hop workshops run by some of Australia’s leading urban dancers. The ultimate free activity for kids of all levels, Dance Academy runs daily between 30 March – 14 April at Chadstone – The Fashion Capital these school holidays. ​

2pm: Hip-Hop Class (Recommended age 7 – 12 years)

3pm: Hip-Hop Class (Recommended age 4 – 8 years)

4pm: Hip-Hop Class (Recommended age 4 – 8 years)

Dance Academy is a free and bookable experience. The experience is intended for Children under 18, but mostly recommended for children aged 4 – 12 years. Children to be supervised at all times by a parent/guardian. All individuals intending to participate (adult and children) must be covered by a booking.

Dress code:​

- Participants should wear anything that they can comfortably move in.​

- Footwear – sneakers with non-marking soles or bare feet, no socks (socks will make the dance floor slippery).​

You must be, or become, a Chadstone First member to book for this activity. Chadstone First members receive email updates about the latest offers, event details and news of what is happening in-centre. When booking for this activity, you will be invited to join Chadstone First if you’re not already a member. You must be 18+ to book. All children under 18 years attending the activity must be accompanied and supervised by a guardian or parent. Booking only available via www.chadstone.com.au/dance-academy. Limited availability sessions from 30 March 2024 – 14 April 2024. Each ticket to the activity entitles an individual to a 25-35 minute dance session (ballet or hip-hop). Please ensure that you do not book for more than 2 parents or guardians per child to ensure sufficient space for the activity. Please refer to the recommended ages and experience level prior to booking. Participants should wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the activity.
